Rodgers, along with all of her agriculture classmates and their teachers and parents, had to wait hours for their school's trailer to get called up to unload their goats and lambs before they could settle in for the competitions the following days. Each competing student from Madison spent 10 or more hours on the 17th working and will miss 2-3 days of school to care for and compete with their animal.
